Clear Your Heart Blockage with Garlic and Lemon, Reduce Blood Pressure and Cholesterol in the Process

A recent journal article has claimed that taking garlic supplements can significantly reduce blood pressure in people who have high blood pressure.

The various studies showed that garlic reduced systolic blood pressure by an average of 4.6 mmHg. In people with high blood pressure, the average reduction in blood pressure was 8.4 mmHg systolic and 7.3 mmHg diastolic. The higher the person’s blood pressure at the beginning of the study, the more their blood pressure was reduced.

A 600mg dose of garlic powder contains 3.6 mg of allicin, garlic’s active ingredient. 900 mg contains 5.4 mg of allicin, whereas a fresh clove of garlic can contain anything from 5 mg to 9 mg of allicin.

This analysis makes interesting reading, as it certainly indicates that garlic can have an effect on blood pressure, even in people who have high blood pressure. The value of a meta-analysis is that it pulls together the results of different smaller studies to give an overall picture of what research is saying about a particular topic.

Benefits of Lemon Juice

High blood cholesterol is a relatively common condition and one that is linked to increased risk of cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis and heart attack. Lemons are cholesterol-free — like all fruit — but they also contain various natural compounds that can help reduce the amount of cholesterol circulating in the blood. Fresh-squeezed lemon juice with lots of pulp likely has the most impact on cholesterol levels.

Vitamin C

Like all citrus fruit, lemons are a very good source of vitamin C — also called ascorbic acid — which partially explains why they taste so tart. Vitamin C can help reduce the amount of lipids and cholesterol in the blood, at least in test animals, according to a study published in a 2006 edition of the “Nigerian Journal of Physiological Sciences.” The researchers found that feeding vitamin C to rats for 30 days significantly reduced their total blood cholesterol, including “bad” LDL cholesterol. On the other hand, the vitamin C did not increase “good” or protective HDL cholesterol in the blood. Regardless, the researchers concluded that administration of moderate to high doses of vitamin C may protect against atherosclerosis and hypertension. An 8-ounce glass of unpasteurized lemon juice contains about 94 milligrams of vitamin C, which is more than the recommended daily amount for adults.

Flavonoids

Lemons contain numerous flavonoids, particularly eriocitrin and limonin, which are compounds that taste bitter and display some interesting health properties. According to a study published in a 2006 edition of the “Journal of Food Science,” daily consumption of eriocitrin significantly reduced total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and phospholipids in the blood serum of rats. In a human study published in a 2007 edition of “Alternative Therapies,” men and women with high blood cholesterol were given flavonoids and vitamin E daily for four weeks and their total cholesterol levels were reduced between 20 and 30 percent. The researchers theorized that limonin reduces the production of apolipoprotein B, a substance in the liver associated with higher cholesterol levels.

Dietary Fiber

Dietary fiber, particularly soluble fiber such as pectin, is also associated with lowering blood cholesterol levels. A study published in the journal “Clinical Cardiology” found that people given daily amounts of citrus pectin — derived from grapefruit pulp and peel — for 16 weeks showed an average total cholesterol reduction of 7.6 percent and an average LDL reduction of approximately 11 percent. Whole lemons are a good source of citrus pectin, but lemon juice without any pulp doesn’t contain much of it — a little less than 1 gram per 8 ounces of juice.

Remedy #1

Ingredients:

  • One cup of raw garlic juice
  • One cup of raw lemon juice
  • One cup of raw ginger juice
  • One cup of apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  • First of all you need to take all the ingredients and mix them nicely. Next you need to boil the mixture for about 30 minutes.
  • Once the time has passed, leave the mixture to cool and then add three cups of raw, organic honey.
  • Then you need to pour the mixture in a glass jar/bottle and store it in the refrigerator.
  • As for the consummation of this remedy, you need to take one tablespoon of this incredible mixture in the morning, before you eat.

Remedy #2

Ingredients:

  • 30 medium sized cloves of garlic (cut them into very small pieces)
  • Six lemons, cut into small pieces (peeled)

Instructions:

  • Take the lemons and garlic and place them in a blender or food processor. Fill the remaining space with water and blend everything well.
  • After that, pour the mixture in a pot and pour 2 liters of water.
  • Now put the mixture on the stove over medium heat. Wait until the mixture start boiling and then simmer it for additional 5 minutes.
  • Now leave the mixture to cool. Once the mixture is cooled, strain it and put it into a clean glass bottle.
  • Finally all you have to do is remove all the leftovers.
  • Keep the mixture in a fridge.

How to use this remedy?

As for the consummation of this remedy, you need to drink about 50 ml of this mixture on a daily basis for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks you need to take a break for seven days. Then you can repeat the process all over again,which means you can drink 50 ml of this mixture on a daily basis for 3 weeks. You can repeat the procedure every six months.

Remedy #3

For the preparation of this remedy all you have to do is take 15 cloves of garlic and 3 medium sized lemons and put them in a food processor or a blender. Then add some water and mix well all the ingredients.

As soon as the mixture is ready, put it in a metal pot.

Next, you need to repeat this process all over again with the same amount of garlic and lemons. After you have finished all of that, you need to put everything into one pot and add one liter of water. Now put this pot on the stove and wait for it to start boiling.

As soon as it starts boiling you need to simmer it for another 5 minutes. Then take a strainer and strain the mixture. Next thing you need to do is place the liquid into a clean pot. Once the liquid is completely drained, you need to wait until it cools.

Attention: You must not rush the draining process. Also you must not use the leftovers from the draining process for anything else. Just throw them out.

When the mixture is all drained out, you will have three to four liters of this magnificent remedy. When storing this mixture it is crucial to use glass bottles. You must avoid plastic bottles, because they can cause many health issues when they are filled with hot or warm liquids. That is why you need to use glass bottles. Finally you need to keep this remedy in the fridge.

As for the consummation of this remedy, you need to drink one regular glass of this remedy every day for 3 weeks. Then you need to take a break for seven days and then you repeat the procedure.
